Yes, he wasn't murdered, he was assassinated by the US.
If his own people wanted to do it, the US should have let them rather than spending trillions of dollars they don't have and more importantly killing thousands of Americans in the process. Now Iraq is worse off than when Saddam was still alive and in power with no real way of fixing it, yet Osama runs free in Afghanistan with hardly any US troops there to catch him.

Saddam was not murdered. He was tried and convicted in Iraqi courts by Iraqis. The U.S. kept him alive until he could be tried. He would have been lynched if the U.S. hadn't maintained his security. I realize that some people consider capital punishment to be state-sponsored murder. If you believe so, I respect your right to believe that. I, on the other hand, don't believe he was murdered. I believe he received justice for his actions. Personally, I would have dropped a grenade down the hole when he was captured. That would have saved quite a bit of trouble.

Okay. Lets see.
1.) Saddam murdered his own people.
2.) India is NOT even close to being humane to its millions of people who have no voice in their government.

I do not think Saddam was murdered. I think that if the US had not intervened, he likely would have been.
I really do not get your connection to India, who is dealing with their own humanitarian issues.

If you think that Saddam was murder after he had a fair trial and convicted, then you think that everything that Saddam did was not. Do you agree??.

Saddams murder is not acceptable in any civilised society eventhough he was a uncivilised person. On top of it , India watching it quietly is not acceptable to even a common man.
Jesus, God incarnate of compassion unlimited said about a sinner, " He knows not what he is doing , forget his misdeeds and forgive him".
It gives an opprtunity for a sinner to introspect deeply inside and get reformed to become to become a human being fit to share the space in a civilised society.
Of all the nations of the world , Iraq of Saddam Hussain was maintaining very friendly relationship with India, till Saddam breathed his last .
India is a land of vedas , having produced Buddha,Gandhi, saint Ramakrishna, saint Vivekananda ,Adi Shankara ,Sri Ramanuja and innumerable saints preaching compassion and cocern for fellow beings.
India stood at the forefront in preaching non-alignment etc maintained silence about the episode of Saddam's murder is a black event in the history of India.
We doubt whether we live in a civilised world , if this could happen to the past President of a sovereign nation what is the state of a murde accused if he happens to be a common man?
WMD was not found in Saddam's Iraq but the nation was attached with out valid resolution and approval of UNO under the false pretext of war against terrorism.
Many countries of the world has abolished capital punishment in this civilised era of 21st Century and Govt of Iraq is mercilessly hanging to death a past President who kept his country under his thumb by rule of fear for about 30 years but ensuring economic stability inspite of sanctions imposed by UNO.
For the Himalayan blunder of one individual Saddam Hussain , the whole innocent citizens of Iraq had to suffer the wrath of sanctions fo r12 long years, resulting in the death of millions of children due to mal-nutrition in Iraq.
More than 4000 American soldiers had to die for no fault of theirs
simply obeying the Presidential orders from George W.Bush fighting against terrorism in a foreign soil, in favour of their mother land and a new world order.
India professed the theory of non-alignment but aligned with Soviet Russia in the cold war era but now tacitly aligning with the USA lost it's voice in condemning the hanging to death of Saddam Hussain in order safe guard the nuclear agreement with America and to get some favours by way of gettinf some technical knowhow etc.
Death to Saddam is not acceptable in this civilised era of 21st Century and we have to accept the silent attitude of India abhorrently about the murder of Saddam.

I dont agree with the way he died.I dont agree with the death penalty period.I feel that he shouldve rotted in some underground dungeon.Or put him in maximum security or something. He should have had to sit and get his toe nails and finger nails ripped out one by one.He killed alot of inocent people inluding children. Its not right.
