Of course not. The very wealthy are self-insured. Why spend money on a insurance plan? The 60% of americans who have insurance do so against the possability they will encounter health problems they cannot afford. The very wealthy would rather keep that premium money earning interest for themselves and if they get sick they can easily afford to pay for it themselves

Business/finance smarts - good business sense, good financial management and risk analysis skills, and a little luck. Oh geez, and don't forget some of those comedianes. Who ever would've thunk that Larry the Cable Guy would be an investment wizard and end up a millionaire? I saw Donald Trump in an interview once and he said he doesn't do anything that he knows won't benefit him (and I got the impression from his tone that he wasn't considering "warm fuzzy feelings" a benefit.) He also said "some of the best investments are the ones you don't make." So, if he doesn't do anything for others unless he's making money off it, it makes sense that he's rich, but when you have that kind of money - how do you know if people like you for you, or because you're "rich and powerful"? People like me who volunteer my time and donate money to good causes whenever I can, helps others - family, friends, and strangers alike without expecting anything in return, doesn't mind giving my job an extra couple hours of my time each week if we're really that busy and need to get a job done, etc. - I would say we are rich in a different way.
