About 500,000 years ago we all lived on Mars - However due to rapidly detoriating atmospheric conditions, our ancestors decided to migrate. The rich and the educated went to the Planet Zela in the outer rim of the Milky Way Galaxy, while the loser class were sent to nearby Earth. To answer your question more precisely we used to be martians in the distant past, but now we are earthlings. Our better off relatives can be found on Zela - apparently living in greater comfort and not wasting their time waging useless wars based on religon and considering digital watches as ultra cool. They do visit us occasionally but dont really hang around or mix with us. We of course see their sauser like space crafts & jump up & down screaming UFO - UFO - UFO. Some over-enthusiastic earthlings found shouting in this manner have been promptly put into the mental asylum.
