I just saw a show about a soldier who was burned beyond recognition by a suicide bomber. His wife is sticking by him. I'm just wondering if that is always the case?

I'll stick by my man for better of worse. Just because something happened to him doesn't mean I would love him less. In fact, I'd probably love him more. Things like this show who you really are as a person inside.

I would stay. Thats when he will need her most. When people go through dramatic life altering things they need support. Could you imagine getting burnt beyond recognition and you have to worry if the person you love and were fighting to protect just walked away. If the spouse leaves, they really didn't love that person fully they just were there for personal and selfish reasons.

I wish all the young people of te country would have to have seen that tape. I saw it. If you marry and something like that happens what would you do.
I asked that to a friend who was marrying and he cancelled the wedding. He said it made him think and he knew he was getting married for all the wrong reasons. Sex, beauty etc.
I would be there because marriage is sacred and you love unconditionally.

Is your love so shallow, that only the exterior appearance matters?
I'd hate t be your man, and have the guts to defend my country, knowing that if I were hurt or injured, you'd consider leaving me. You don't deserve a good man if this is how you feel.

That's a terrible thing to happen. But I'd stick to him, because I love him. Anyway, we've vowed to love each other in sickness and in health. If i were to leave him because he looks like a monster now, I think the real monster won't be him. It'll be me.

It takes a special love to stick by someone in hard times. If you find you can't I don't think you were that much in love with the real person . You know the saying "Never judge a book by the cover!"

If the one you love is burned or anything else happens to them, you still love them just like you loved them before the accident. I would stay.

I would stay...without a doubt...i love him and i won't leave him no matter what happens to him....i would want him to stay by my side if this happened to me, so how could i not stay by him if it happens to him...
His heart and soul are still as beautiful as they were when i fell in love with them...

Burn victims look like monsters, I know its cruel to say but its true
I would stay with them for a while and find some other excuse to break up.
