i set mine to 62 durnig the hours that i am not home, and 65 for when i am home which is usually only at night, when my son comes for the weekends we set it at 68, but i like it cooler in the house, and can't sleep without blankets

Call your utility company for the best recommend setting for your climate... we are in the MidWest but have mild winters compared to someone in Chicago or farther north... your setting difference [ 5 degrees?..10?..]needs to be on your temperature variables.

We keep ours at about 68 during the day, then knock it down to about 60 at night. We have electric blankets and small ceramic heaters in each bedroom & keep the doors shut at night to contain the warmth. You need to be sure the heaters are ceramic with tip-over shut-off feature, UL approved, and place in a clear, safe location in the room. We have realized significant winter heating expense doing this.

The lower the better, certainly above freezing. We have ours set to 13 degrees Celcius - 65 Farenheit ?

i keep mine at 65.a little cool but thats what blankets are for.also if i have company,i'll turn it up.plus its been kinda warm lately too,that helps.
