Sigh. I know this is a tough one to answer, but thought it is worth a shot. I am 27 and my husband is 31. We have only been trying for 3 months, but in that time I have not gotten my period. I have always been irregular, and a sonogram indicates the likelihood of PCOD, but is not conclusive. My mom was irregular and had no trouble conceiving 3 times. My sister is irregular (gets her period every 75 days) and has had 5 kids without help. My cousin is irregular (every 3-4 months, like me) and needed Clomid for each kid. Clearly, there is a family history. I am much more irregular than my sister and mom, which leads me to believe that there is no point in waiting, but of course, I am scared of twins. The doctor has said it is my choice, but that she thinks I will probably need it. I am anxious, and not getting my period is making me even more anxious. I feel that I would be able to wait, if only I got my period. Is it necessary to wait any longer considering that it has been 90 days?

You have only tried for 3 months so it is too early to think of taking clomid. you should wait for at least 6-9 more months. as you have always been irregular wait. Being anxious can affect ur periods and even stop conception. so try and relax and enjoy your husband and peace for some time before you begin to worry. some couples take longer time than others -wait.My sister in law had suggestive pcod but concieved without clomid but a hsg. !.

I have been trying for 10 months and started taking Clomid last month. If I had known it was going to take this long, I would have started taking it ages ago!!!! My doctor told me the whole multiple births thing is rubbish and there is no proof Clomid can cause that !!!! Good luck

- Start by understanding and being informed.

You can never be too informed about tools, methods and studies about building successful marriages. Understand the risk factors like your age and maturity at marriage can determine how successful it will be, the anatomy of an affair and what you can do after infidelity. Understand the success factors like the personal and psychological circumstances that will influence your marriage, what are the tools and approaches available to you in dealing with conflict, and numerous other relevant data. All this information is readily available to you whether through self-help material, through a counselor, support group or other venues. In fact, we have made it our commitment to provide these to you in different formats to help you make the best marriage you can.

The thing is, remember, this is information is not available for you to begin hyper-psychoanalyzing your relationship, yourself and your partner. It's not a matter of spewing trivia for the sake of conversation ' information is there for you to ponder over and internalize to help you transform yourself and your marriage. That includes maturing to such a point that you become more competent in your knowledge but more prudent in approach.

hi ive go pcos as well i'd say try it the good old natural way for 6 months when you do have a period i'd suggest doing one of those ovulation tests to see if your ovulating or not because while you might have a period you might not nessaillry be ovulating (because of the pcos)

then if you havent had any luck get some clomid it doesnt mean you'll def have twins it just means there more chance of it happening and there's no way you could have 7 at once like some stupid women said lol, i believe whole heartly if there's medication there we should use it but having said that give it 6 months first.

i'm sure you'd have plenty of help it it was twins and you'd cope just fine

take care x

I would definitely consider Clomid, it doesn't have that many risks and the chances of conceiving twins is fairly low. I am on my 3rd month with clomid and my side effects have been hot flashes, dizziness, mood swings and that's about it. Just like PMS.

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org

Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.

With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/H23ct

Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.
