Donate them to the woman's/man's shelter in your area. The people in charge will see to it that the "right" people get them. The salvation army, I believe, sell them in their resale shops and have no control over who buys the items. Children ALWAYS need books and toys. I also saw a TV show that showed the LARGE homes the "army higher ups" live in....why contribute to that??

You would be farther ahead to take them to the salvation army or the goodwill. They'd be out of your hair plus you'd get a good feeling knowing that some poor kid will get a toy to play with.

If you have a family shelter for domestic violence refugees locally, you could donate to the shelter. If not, donate them to your own or some other local church, or to the Goodwill.

donate them. find a local toy drive or charity around your way and give it to them. dont throw them out. one man's trash is another man's treasure. ppl who are less fortunate would find a good use for them.

If you don't have any siblings, nephews/nieces, cousins etc, give them to a local charity; Salvation Army, Lifeline, St Vincents de Paul, or the nearest church etc. They'll find heaps of kids who'll appreciate them. Please don't throw them away.
