It may be nothing but then again it could be Spina Bifida(the correct spelling). I was born with it and my mother said I had a small little sack right above my butt on my spine that looked like a little egg under the skin. I had surgery when I was 5 days old and have led a pretty normal life so if that is what it is you wont have to be to concerned because normally if its going to cause any problems to someone they will be born with them and not develop them as they age, besides aches and pain.

You should get it checked out by your doctor just to be safe. Try not to worry though. There are so many different types of bumps and lumps that people can get that are not serious. My son was born with 2 large lumps on the back of his neck. They disapeared after a while. Chances are it's nothing serious.

i'm not a vet; basically a BabyBoomerGrannieRN-canine lover. Bone overgrowth looks unlikely at 4 months previous. If the the "lump" is company yet transportable; it in keeping with possibility a sebacious cyst regarding the scalp. If it gets delicate, warm, or swollen it may be lanced for drainage. Then there are tumors; sturdy ones & undesirable malignant ones. If he have been mine i might take him to the vet. make certain which you do take a itemizing of all questions you want solutions to. additionally, tell the vet in case you spot any unusual behaviors like situation jogging, tremors, vomiting, stability subjects etc. in case you believe this vet & you're instructed he's nice don't be embarrassed yet be proud understanding you have performed your appropriate. Smile & tell your vet "that's the right information i could hear". in case you get undesirable information you may paintings with the vet to make him greater useful. Wishing you & "doggy" the right. the two way.....pass homestead & play with him in the leaves whilst the sunlight shines.

You need to get that checked by a doctor immediately. I heard on TV that somebody noticed a lump on her child's back and it ended up being cancer.

Depends how small she is and how her skeletal structure is. It's probably because she is growing. If you're that concerned, take her to urgent care or schedule an appointment ASAP as her four month wellness check is probably coming anyhow????

I would say not normal, but then I'm not a doctor. I'd have your pediatrician take a look at it. When it comes to the safety of our kids.... use the pros!
