my dreams are gory, all-out, over the top locked battles. During the dream it becomes more frightening when the ripping of the flesh and the braking of bones does not thwart the monster and becomes evident to be even useless. Punches? I wish my dreams were so simple. How about tearing through my opponents neck with my teeth to rip out the jugular while spiraling uncontrollably in the sky? Only to find that the monster was doing the same to me the whole while. Or dreams where i empty all of the rounds into the monsters, yet i take bullets to the chest? yes i can relate

I think you have so nailed what happens in dreams i had a dream the other night and exactly the same thing happened...it's mighty frustrating in your dream, try as you might no punches are connecting even when you try to turn a light switch on in your dream, you just keep missing...good question.

Yes.
I did not mind so much in the past, but recently I have been having horrible nightmares. I die every other day. And I never lift a finger to protect myself. Waking up screaming at 3 A.M. is beginning to take a toll on my health.

Yes I know exactly what you mean! Either I am trying to run away from someone and I can't because my legs are going slow no matter how fast I try to move them or I am trying to fight someone but I can't because my arms are just not moving fast enough. It's so annoying!

I've been having dreams recently where I've been beating the tar out of people. Like actually drawing blood. But I have had dreams were I can't hit people as hard as I would like.

Its a completley weird feeling.
You have all this anger vented up inside and then you throw a slow motion punch at them. It may be to show from our inner spirit that we weren't meant to be violent to each other.
I'm glad you asked because I thought it must be only me.

that happens sometI'mes. but here lately i do fight back. and it manifested itself in the real world. i was fighting some wild boar who had my cousin and without realizing it i was literally kicking and punching my boyfriend in the head. he told me later he was trying to wake me up and i would not. then he called out my name. and finally i woke up. this is like the third time in two months this has happened to me. and no im not on drugs, or other meds or do i drink. its just weird but i least i do fight back.
