Heck yes! Unless you only spilled a penny's worth, you'll be buying some new plants. I once had a boyfriend who used bleach on a fire ant mound, and the surrounding lawn died within a day.

Yes bleach will kill plants. I use it to kill unwanted grass and weeds that come up in a gravel driveway it is cheap and works great.
