Great, but what will you do with expensive machine when you can't buy the coffee capsules any more?
They will drop off the shelves in a few years - honest.
Buy a caffieteire and a grinder and make your own with fresh roasted beans. A fraction of the cost, better aroma and much, much better taste.
Your girlfriends should be more impressed by real coffee than pre-packaged stuff anyway. If they're not then ask yourself if she isn't just too shallow for you.

I'm suspicious of the sealed-up little packets...you can't see what's in there can you, it could be pencil shavings. And the pre-measured dose forces you to have coffee their way, not yours (and spend a certain amount!). What if I like my coffee stronger or weaker than the manufacturer??

Only if you want to be coerced into buying expensive coffe. Get an ordinary espresso machine - great coffee, low price.
