Ethanol and building nuclear power plants could cause a serious decrease in the amount fo fossil fuels we use. But the shortsighted, the uninformed, and special interest groups are keeping us fully dependent on imported oil.

You cannot produce enough E-85 to make this a feasible solution. I do like alternative fuels like diesel. This is the product that ships all products throught out our country. If you have recently noticed an increase in the goods you buy, you should have also noticed the increase in the price of diesel. As of Jan. 1st there is more regulation for cleaner burning diesl fuel. Anything helps.

E85 won't stop the dependency on oil but it helps. Anything that lets us use more oil is a good thing. It helps out U.S. farmers and burns cleaner.

If it was cheap, reliable, and didn't ruin the engine I would be driving now, then yes.
