It's for history - we're studying the Russian Revolution and i need to make a Boshevik manifesto...

The symbol was the hammer and sickle, which symbolized the unity of industrial workers (hammer) and peasants (sickle). I don't think they had one slogan, but if you make one up it should be something like "Revolution now!"

In Russia, red means beautiful. The Bolsheviks used a red flag as their symbol when they overthrew the tsar in 1917. That is how red became the color of communism.

I thought that the frequent slogan was a quote from Karl Marx - "Workers of the World Unite"

hammer and sickle no slogan , but many sayings ,eg forward as one, unity through strength, to see yer to see yer nice. LF
