Well, it is Martin Luther King Jr. day, but its not his birthday. Its a time to appriciate how he has helped our country, because if it wasn't for him, america wouldn't be where we are now. Its not his b-day, because if you have noticed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day is always on the 3rd monday of Jan.

Not for the retailers, it's their opportunity to make yet more money off of people who have the day off work and who will go shopping rather than observe Martin Luther King.

in our county the county offices and banks will be closed..not sure about the schools, then the state offices probably will close am sure.....my office, a doctors office will be open as usual.....we take xmas and thanksgiving and few others
