No, you can never really know what goes on in another person's mind, but you can often know at least some of it when you know some things about the person's behavior, life style, life situation, background, etc. Psychology is about human behavior more than what goes on in the mind. I don't believe psychology is all bull.

Uh yes you can. And psychology is not bull. Learn a bit of psychoanalysis and then say that again. Most of the time people don't really know what psychology is. It is not about being psychic and predicting crap. Get that to your head. Study a bit of it before you say something as radical as that.

Psychology is bull- it is so easy to fool Psychologists if you want to- I've done it before. Nobody can really ever know what makes a person say and do the things the say and do- except for God, that is.

NO, you can't. People are reflexive and constantly changing.
Psychology is not bull...it is just a science based on theory. It can be right sometimes but sometimes its way off.
As long as you are not closed minded about people and judge them based on a few things, psychology can work in some instances.

You have some idea if you can pick up on the signs and the clues.
As for psychology, there is an exception to every rule. Most do follow patterns though.

Maybe not the thought process, but emotions often have a visible physical response.
People's thought processes are often faulty, but feelings are come natural and are hardwired (accept in cases of extreme child abuse where the wiring gets messes up).
You may never know what another person thinks, but if you care to pay attention you can often tell how they feel.

Yes. They are called psychics and some of them are for real and have actual extra-sensory abilities. I'm not quoting some latenight half-bit show on cable either!! But they don't need to pick any of OUR brains. They need to find serial killers and sacrifice themselves for scientific research. etc. etc. So much the pity. And Oh yeah, psychologists!!!! They spend 12 years in college to listen to us and then ask what WE think about what we just said.
Better to buy a tape recorder and talk till you're blue in the face
and play it back. That should satisfy our self-obsession!!@8=)

I think you can only speculate what goes on in anothers mind and be right often if you have great intuition . I feel psychology is really all about intuition , recognizing it and increasing it . .
