It's natural for someone to drift away a bit from their friends after obtaining a girl/boyfriend. It's nothing personal, they just need their space...

Some people will act this way when they don't need you. Children will act the same way, when they have friends; they forget their parents. Their friends come first. Smile.

Don't fret; your friends will come around if they are your friends. When dealing with friends, we should approach with this thought, "who needs me the most?" You'll be there for them in time of needs if you are a true friend.

well my friends usually come first, because I've been with them for longer and they tend to know me better than any of my bfs

no-one should choose their bf/gf over a friend, or throw away a friend because of a bf/gf

because friends, at least real ones, last forever, and bfs/gfs well you end up dumping them, or they dump you (unless of course you are older and ready for the next step)
