omg! I turned on my laptop this morning, and it was making a weird noise, and when it finally turned on, it was sorta flashing, like the screen was moving. ALL of the colors on my computer are inverted. They look lnothing like they did yesterday! The screen was white, and the little bar @ the bottom was blue....Now, the screen is black, the start menu is purple, and the little bar @ the bottom is orange!! I checked control panel to see if i had accidently turned theese crazy colors on or something, but it says my theme is classic blue & white!!
I take really good care of my laptop. Ive had it about a year & it has always worked excellent. Its an HP.
Can someone please help me or tell me how the heck to fix this?!?

If your laptop is WinXP try a System Restore to a day or so ago. This should put all display settings back to an earlier working condition

Sounds like you need to call HP. But I'd give it another try and restart the system. If it's still the same, try booting into safe mode and check your settings again.
If that doesn't help, call hp. Good Luck

DO NOT DO SYSTEM RESTORE, until you call HP and THEY say to do it. So restart it and if that doesnt work call HP.
Cause system restore erases every single thing off your computer besides what It came with when you first bought it.

hmm sounds like you got a virus try starting the comp on in safe mode to do this u hit the f6 key i beleive when its booting i cant remember wich f key it is but once u get in there try reseting your display settings
