Yes, he did, and yes, I did.
He only chewed on one end so I just wiped it on my shirt to clean off his drool and enjoyed the rest.
It was Februsry 2nd and I always eat grounghog on that date. I wasn't about to let my dog ruin a tradition like that.

Actually, my wife's dog stole my dinner once.
My resentment hasn't abated despite the dogs' ancient demise.
And no, I wouldn't want it back.
