This is a nation whose foundations are built in faith and belief in God. Bush is a God appointed president and i strongly believe he is in that position to do what any other leader would not have done but for the benefit of the rest of the world which many people may call blunders. USA's credibility may have dwindled like some may think but many in the world will be changed for the better because of the sacrifices made by Americans.

It will take about 100 years---I'm serious. Look at the Civil War. We are still suffering from the bloodiest war this country ever fought. Racism on all sides has become institutionalized. Expect the same result from the two wars in the Persian Gulf and Afghanistan.

how will the USA ever recover from the mistakes of Clinton
The cut of military spending and of intelligence agencies cost the USA 3000 lives in the WTC attacks. The giving of nuclear power to N. Korea has left the world in fright of an atomic war. Pulling out of Somali has left hundreds of thousands of civilians dead due to starvation

What mistakes?? War costs money, no doubt about it. I suppose you're one of those liberals that says "pull out now!"...."bring our troops home!"?? What will that solve? If we leave Iraq in the chaos that it's in, it will only provoke them, or any other country that is not pleased with the US to attack again. Just let the miltary (they signed up on their own FREE will to fight for us) do their job and stop whining!!

Next federal election, you start with a new president and a clean slate.
You may be paying off the war debt for a while though.

All it takes is a new mandate and that will be found in the next president of the United States, who will be a Democrat.
