I actually like the show...it has a whole new innovative concept in television and really flips society's definition of beauty....i mean the show's top beauties are really ugly inside...and Betty is not a beauty queen but her spirit transcends the idea of those base descriptions of what Beauty really is and should be....I think Salma Hayek did a really great job in the concept of the show and i hope it lasts and rubs off on the rest of the television marketing!!!

Its a remake of a spanish novela called "Bety la fea" translate that in english and you get Ugly Betty.

I watched the first one and didn't believe it the first time through, so I watched it again.
I'm afraid I thought it was STILL the biggest load of rubbish America has unloaded on us for quite a while.

I have yet to see it, but it's not really an American show. It's a re-make of a Brazilian show.

I'm still undecided.. it's not as funny as what I thought it was going to be, but enough is going on for me to watch it again. It's not something I would go out of my way to watch though.
