It is merely a sign of the reality of the situation. What was accomplished by staying in Vietnam for years and years? A communist government and thousands of American lives. In other words, it accomplished absolutely nothing. The same can be said about staying the course in Iraq. The people of Iraq must be the stewards of their own destiny. We cannot impose freedom and democracy on them. It must come from within.

Nothing more can be done. We can win 'battles'....but that war will never be won. We are wasting good men and women over there. They are fighting for someone else's freedoms...not ours.
We might as well give them our Consitution...we sure the hell aren't using it!
