If you must have a monkey,take advaantage of the net and research the different types.You should know that monkeys are very dirty.They will pee from their cage onto your floor,and relieve themselves anywhere they want,at anytime.If you can handle that,go ahead.Also,monkeys are considered exotic animals.If yours gets sick it is VERY expensive to get it cared for.You must find a vet that deals with primates.The smaller the better is the least expensive way to go.Look up spider monkeys.

your best bet would be a squirrel monkey, my aunt has one that she has owned since I was a child, she has two handicapped boys that are grown men now & the monkey is their pet, the monkey is wonderful, loving and very entertaining.

My mother in law had one when she was a girl and she said that she had the best time with him. He was so honry and had to have a diaper on. Even threw poop! Hope you ready for anything!! I'm sorry I don't know what Kind it was!! Good Luck!!
