have you been to the doctors yet irregular periods and being overweight might be an under lying problem of poly cystic ovary syndrome also known as pcos the two things you have mentioned are classic signs of pcos along with excess body hair and high testosterone level all of this can be verified by a blood test i wish you luck and hope this has been some help

being overwieght, or stressed, or a big change in life can all make your period irregular, take another test, or even see a doctor to get a blood test, they are the most accurate

nearly 3 months without a period is a sign of pregnancy.try another test first then maybe go to Drs and see whats wrong, being overweight has nothing to do with your periods could be a blockage some where
wish you luck and hope you are pregnant

Being overweight does not mean that you will have irregular periods but suddenly gaining weight will make them irregular. I would talk to my doctor and have a blood test done to check for pregnancy.

Pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate. Also as someone else stated, you can miss your period due to stress.
If you feel any symptoms (I am sure you know what they are since you already have one child), I would suggest you visit a doctor for a pregnancy test (blood).

Did u have trouble getting pregnant with ur first child? Ur weight could be causing u to have irregular periods... Have u went to a fertility doctor? U could possibly be pregnant, or just making ur body believe u are b/c u haven't gotten ur period...

You might want to check with your OBGYN and have her do an ultrasound for your ovaries/check uterus if pregnant.
If it is what I am thinking--do not get startled, but what you say in your question made me think of this site-look at it just for info:

hi,
Have you tested for thyroid? Thyroid abnormalities usually lead to irregular cycles.
