Well... most rich people are assholes. If you havent noticed they dont pay taxes and we do. I think it perfectly justifies the fact that he is the tax man collecting their debts.

He didn't steal it. He is just taking it back. The rich stole it from the poor. It is a different approach to justice.

given that in that time, the rich stole from the poor, extorted too many taxes fromt hem so they could live in extravance, then I think it is perfectly just for him to restore the poor some of their money.

no it doesnt justify it...he could ask for it first or go to a shelter that provides for the poor then distribute those goods instead.
