through a straw intensifies it's effects, is this true?

False. When someone drinks through a straw, they drink faster, so they order another drink, which they'll drink very quick as well.
So, alcohol doesn't intensify its effects if someone drinks it through a straw, that just makes them to drink more.

I've no idea, I prefer to make the delivery as quickly as possible and a straw just doesn't cut it for me.....
