1. Plug you iPod into your computer.
2. Under preferences, choose, "update checked songs only" (I think that's what it is)
3. Uncheck all the songs in your iTunes library that you don't want on your iPod. They will not be deleted from your computer.
4. Update your iPod.

attach the ipod to the computer via the usb lead, go onto iTunes, click on your ipod symbol (far left), if you have the new itunes, then click music below your ipod symbol. There shoudl be a list of all the music on your ipod. Left click on the track you want to delete and press CLEAR. This will only erase off your ipod not your library. You'll have to delete each song individually which is a bit of a bum, but at least it's something, it took me weeks to figure it out!

You need to plug your ipod into the usb port. log into your itunes library and then right click each song you want deleted. When you right click it will give you a list of options, just highlight "delete" and then click it. It will ask you if you also want to delete the song from your library. You can delete it from only ur ipod or both your ipod and your library.

Plug it into your computer and click the iPod icon in iTunes, then go to your songs and delete them off your iPod from iTunes.

You can delete the songs form the playlist then plug in your ipod and sync and the deleted will be removed form your ipod. You can go to http://www.ipod-vibez.com/howto.html that site has information that will show you have to do it better than I have explained.

you delete them off your computer or you uncheck them in itunes on the left of the title....your ipod is a mirror of itunes...whatever you have on itunes will go to your ipod if you delete a song off of your itunes next time you update your ipod that song will be deleted off of your ipod

thats the thing aout ipods you cant just delete one or two songs you have to delete all of them then put the ones u want back on like i always do.

just unclick the ones you don`t want from your playlist then click on replace all songs when filling and it will load the songs from your playlist replacing the ones that are already loaded

you have to plug it in to the computer i believe and deleted from your playlist
