It's too expensive for the average consumer to afford, and it has a weak line up of games at launch. Other than Resistance:Fall of Man, there's no "Must have" title out right now.

That, and Sony was putting too much emphasis on trying to put another one of their own proprietary disk formats in our living room...... instead of focusing on a game machine.
