When I was a kid, there was a man who ran a Christian book store next to the local movie theater. I remember looking into his eyes on my way to the matinee- and the hair stood up on the back of my neck- he freaked me out. After that, I never looked in his eyes again, and would walk all the way around the square to get to the theater so I wouldn't have to walk past him. Years later, he went to prison for molesting all 10 if his kids. A few years ago, I met a peacher, and when I looked into his eyes, the same thing happened- the hair stood up on the back of my neck- so I know that he is evil too. So my answer is, yes, sometimes you can.

Yes, they eyes are the gateway to the soul but you have to look through their eyes into them, Sounds crazy but as a bouncer I was taught to look into peoples eyes because when the are about to do something crazy or stupid their eyes will give them away before they do it and out of 300 people you can spot the 1 or 2 guys that you know are going to do something stupid or crazy. Its an old wives tale but people with bulgy eyes tend to be mentally unstable.. which is an old wives tale but I have found its more often true then not.

i wonder if it is the eyes or what's going on around them?
the muscles around the eyes will pull and push the skin into a variety of different shapes depending on which emotions are being felt. ( just for a bit of fun try this in the mirror ). the eyebrows will enhance these shapes.
apart from the reaction of the pupils to light and the eyeballs ability to move around in its socket there really isn't a lot going on.
or is there ? it's certainly a question worth looking into a little deeper, don't you think?

The eyes are the window to the soul. I do believe that. You can tell if people are sad, happy or whatever by looking at into their eyes. I believe you can probably tell a lot about someone. Yes.

It is all in the eyes, if your conversation partner does not uphold constant eye contact whilst conversing with one another, then something is wrong! This can mean many things..your partner has a bad conscience, has auterior motives, he/she is not being truthful and trying to pull one over on you, he/she is trying to manipulate you etc. etc...
Body language is a very strong and precise communication "messenger", if one knows how to interpret it properly, and consequently, say the right thing at the right time...it can mean the conclusion of the deal
When I talk to anybody, their eyes are my focal point..it is also good manners and a mutual, ongoing confirmation, that one is really being taken seriously and that one is listening to one another.

Yes and no. If the person you are talking to is maintaining or keeping good eye contact with you, you can usually assume they are being honest and up-front.
If they do not look you in they eye or maintain good eye contact, people assume they are hiding something or not interested.

People believe if you can stare a person in there eyes, you can see past all that and see their soul...
But, really, I have not known, for I have never been givin the opportunity to gaze into someones eyes long enough to see their soul...

By the shape of the skin around their eyes, I can see what they are feeling while they are talking to me. Happy, sad, angry, suspicious, etc. The width of the center of the eyeball, the small black area that we actually see with, if it is small, they do not like what they see, if it is big, they like what they see.
Most females have large centers when they talk to me.
Most males have small centers when they talk to me.

You can tell a great deal about people by who they associate with. Do they surround themselves with nice people, submissive followers, or sociopaths? They may be able to hide their true personalities, but they can't hide their friends and relatives.
