how do i enable my pc for wireless connections?

I am currently running my broadband through cable but want to upgrade to wireless but dont think my pc is enabled for this.

you will need 2 upgrades ,1st will be a wireless router,which you can get from either you isp(internet service provider) or by purchasing it yourself from somewhere like pc-world
you will then need a wirelless usb device to recieve the wireless signals,or if you have a laptop a pcmcia wireless card
be sure you get a wireless router which is w.e.p enabled(wireless encryption protocol),this will stop any other users using your wireless connection,there is also another security protocol w.p.a
