you will need 2 upgrades ,1st will be a wireless router, which you can get from either you isp(internet service provider) or by purchasing it yourself from somewhere like pc-world
you will then need a wirelless usb device to recieve the wireless signals,or if you have a laptop a pcmcia wireless card
be sure you get a wireless router which is w.e.p enabled(wireless encryption protocol),this will stop any other users using your wireless connection, there is also another security protocol w.p.a
you can pick all this equipment up from argos

look at whether you actually need wireless. The only time you really need wireless is if you have a laptop or palm pc and want internet or local area connection. If its to your desktop, look at running a long cable under the floor boards, much more reliable than wireless which has a tendency to drop its signal and lose connection, its also not very secure. Most laptops require a wireless card for connection. This wirelessly communicates to a router which is connected to your cable modem. Sounds simple enough but getting all the codes and securing it is a tricky business especially if you miss something. A desktop doesnt have wireless as they are stationary objects, you will need a router or bridge for you desktop.

attempt this a million. ensure your computer has an energetic on the spot internet connection. 2. connect your 2 cables like this: 2a. One cable out of your computer's Ethernet port 2b. One cable out of your Xbox 360 and PS3's Ethernet port 3. utilising homestead windows Vista (it is comparable in case you have XP), open administration Panel --> community Connections. you may see an Unidentified community and a on the spot community Connection (your on the spot router), the two considered one of that are linked. 4. Bridge the two connections by utilising picking them the two, marvelous-clicking on one, and clicking Bridge Connections. 5. homestead windows will create a community bridge which will enable your 360 and PS3 to apply your computer's on the spot connection. 6. attempt your connection from the equipment tab --> community settings on your 360. 7. If this does not paintings, choose the "fix to production facility Defaults" from the equipment --> community settings tab; this might do away with previous settings and could enable on your new community to paintings. 8. attempt your connection returned and you would be on
