I think she means she as cute as a cat. Normally if you say you look "cat" means you are attractive, sombre and have an attitude. I hope you do not mean to say that she acts like an animal, then of course she needs to be shown to a psychiatrist.

If you feel like she's embarrasing you then tell her. You consider her a friend and friends let each other know whats on their mind. Maybe you'll do her a favor by letting her know that what she's doing is ridiculous and maybe she'll realize what she is doing is highly unecessary by hearing it from a friend. If she really wants to continue doing what she's doing after you tell her then let her be herself and if you still want to be her friend then you'll have to deal with it and if you can't stand it, don't talk to her.

Kindly explain that she is not a cat, and if she doesnt understand, then call the physciatric hospital, she obviously has issues. Good luck with her, you sound like you need it.

Make an appointment for her with a shrink. In the meantime, give her some catnip, maybe it'll calm her down!! Watch out for fleas.
