It does help, it is better than being left with only an inch on one lace to tie the bow.

I try to but usually I dont have to tie my shoes, most of them even though they have laces I can just slip on and off cuz I have them loose enough. I have claustrophobic feet. LOL

No because when you pull them into a bow you can still make the bow same length on both sides. It wont matter. Hell im lazy i just wear flip flops and clogs year around lol.

Clint! You don't have shoe laces. You wear boots. As for me, no, I don't have obsessive compulsive disorder. But my husband does. His laces not only have to be the same length but they must be pulled straight back nice and neatly. Me, heck, I just toss them in a corner. lol

Yes! To the mm...and it's a nightmare when you wear Doc's, having to keep loosening the laces and trying it again. It takes me half the day to get out of the house.

you dont have to- you'll still be able to tie them but it would be better if you had them same length as if one end is bigger than the other, one side would be dragging on the floor and would cause you to trip over

I'm too lazy for laces. Only buy slip-on shoes.
