There are several, try dinnersite.nl. One of my favourites is an Italin restaurant Rosario in the Peperstraat 10. Or try Hemelse Modder at Oude Waal 9-11. Both in the centre.
You can also try Iens.nl (also in English). (It gives marks)
The spelling of mothers (Mudders) is Moeders at the Rozengracht. Never ate there (this for agent glasseye), Moeders Mooiste at the Marie Heinekenplein, but i do not think he meant that one.

There are a lot of really nice restaurants. Cinema Paradiso is a good Italian place, a bit over priced for what you get but the food is good. Affourtit (www.affourtit.nl) is a very nice place to, not too expensive and a variation of different kind of kitchens in one. In the Westerstraat, located in the Jordaan, are may nice restaurants, for every appetite there's something.

A really nice quirky restaurant I went to myself was Mudders I think, am unsure of the spelling but am sure it meant Mothers. Very nice traditional dutch food with a very welcoming homely feel.

There is a great place right by the train station. It is an Argentinian restaurant and is very quiet. They have really good steak there. Also has a nice view

I went to a best eating position called the Pancake Bakery alongside between the canals. We had to attend a at the same time as for a table notwithstanding it replaced into so scrumptious! it truly is fantastically on the fringe of Anne Frank living house (that you are able to actual visit.

Yes I do, there is a really nice one near the railway station. I can't remember the name but it had big windows at the front, it was a tall building and the waitress was really nice. The food was great.
