Try installing the web cam while you are connected to the Internet. Windows shall automatically search for the driver online. IF this fails, can go to the website of the manufacturer for the camera. Download the installation drivers from there. The website address may also be on the box the camera came in.

I suggest you look at the box (or paperwork) your camera came in, get the phone number from there and phone them and ask for a replacement. If you lost the box and paperwork, then call the place where you bought it, ask them to look on the box (for the type of camera you bought) and provide to you the phone number of that company so you can get your replacement. If you've registered your product "probably" you would get a replacement for free. Otherwise, if they question you you will have to supply them with a copy of your receipt before they will issue you a duplicate cd.

Well, I think by default, Windows should have an "universal" driver for your camera. However, to optimize your camera- in terms of performance, you should install ITS driver. In the case you've lost it, you simply log in your camera manufacturer's website, go to the appropriate page like "download" or "support" and choose your corresponding model's driver....

Go to Creative's web page, and look for the Webcam Instant software. It's the newest version that supports your camera

if its usb, then u just plug it in, and a message should pop up saying new hardware has been found. Then, just follow its instructions and it will install it without the disc.
