How do you know what the passwords are in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team?

Like if you want to go on a friend's rescue mission but you can't do wireless.

Hi - I'm being told this by my 10 year old son as I'm typing so I hope it makes sense; If you do certain rescue missions the client Pokemon give you codes for wondermail, and this automatically sends you passwords - he tells me this is rare.
