I dont know about the spots but there is nothing that will make your hair thicker (actually make the hair shaft fatter) or to increase the number of hair follicles on your head. Some products put a coating on the hair shaft which makes it appear thicker;

A neighbor of mine is a Chinese Medicine Doctor. She met my brother and doesn't want me to be bald like him (He's really nice, but 'follicle challenged.' She gave me some "Shou We Chih' (contains: polygonum multiflorum thumb) it's a dark extract, that comes in a pound bottle. She said it would help my hair grow.

I don't know about the stuff on top of my head, but my facial hair is growing in faster an thicker. I'm having to shave more. It doesn't seem to have any side effects thus far, and doesn't taste too bad.

Also, 'Rosemary Oil Treatments' can help stimulate the scalp a are supposed to help the hair grow. I know they feel really good. I think they help too, as it works in a similar way that Rogaine would work, but natural. Here's where I get the Rosemary Scalp Treatment:

I don't know of any herbal remedies but I've read this for Alopecia (hair loss) a strong multi-vitamin plus 2 grams of vitamin C & zinc tablets.There'll be zinc in multi-vitmain but take the extra dose as instructed on the container until hair begins to grow normally. Also, don't wash your hair with commercial shampoos that contain sodium laureth sulphate but the ones from health shops without S.L.S.

Try taking He Shou Wu (aka Fo Ti). It's latin name is Polygonum multiflorum. I've seen it work well with several of my clients. With long term use, it tends to cause gray hair to revert to its original color as well. There is also an herb from India called Bhringaraj (latin name Elcipta alba) that is good for hair growth. It can be taken internally and is also available as an oil to apply to the scalp. In addition to those, I would also suggest taking a sea vegetable such as kelp or dulse at the same time. The thing to remember is that you will need to take them for at least one month to see the difference. You might also consider using a shampoo or conditioner that contains Rosemary essential oil for circulation.

Well for the hair i would reccomend Sea Kelp. You can buy it from Holland & Barrett. It helps to provide stronger nails and thickens hair. As for spots, i only wish i knew. I've grown a batch lately and all i can think of is that it's down to the bad eating and drinking over the Chrtistmas period so now i make sure im drinking lots of water and they seem to be clearing - thank goodness!

No but I do know the std. alternative essential oil/vitamin way.
However those spots have me confused, more history needed.
Wash hair >3Xa week 100 brushing after adding mix.
Cleansing d-Limonine(or grape fruit oil) & olive oil - enouh oil so there is a warm burn, not an unpleasantly ho onr or you will damage the skin.
After next wash rub in Rosemary essential oil.
Then you need to take >1000mg vitamin C /day & get your heart rate >100 for more than 20min 3X a week
