60mins multiply by 29=1,740 minutes

How many minutes are in one hour? == 60
Multiply 60 x 29

Write 29 on your paper.
Put the 60 under it.
Multiply 0 x the 9 then x the 2==0
Multiply 6 x the 9, put down a 4 in front of the 0 you got above.
Multiply 6 x the 2, which is 12 but add the 5 you have to carry over, making it 17.
The result will be 1740.
Very difficult to show the work in this format.

I came up with 1740 minutes. 29 hrs multiply by 60 mins

If I may respectfully ask, how is it that you are old enough and smart enough to find this website, and not know how to figure this out?
I teach 3rd grade, so I deal with 8 year old kids. They all know that there are 60 minutes in an hour, and most of them can do 60 X 29.
All of them can operate a calculator. I am not making fun of you. I just wonder if you were kidding or what.
