the one that provides the features and services you require at a price you are prepared to pay.

Although reception is no longer the issue it once was (most companies have good coverage accross virtually the whole of the UK) there are still some low spots. So dependng on how you use the netweork (it may be thatr your home, or your work address has no or a porr signal.

the longest established generally have the best reception (these include Vodafone, O2 & Orange. T-Mobile is gettign better, years ago it was mainly an M25 only service

All offer similar services, all want your business, so to a certain extent its up to you to cut a deal that suits you. If you dont need a phone right now Id hang on untill the end of this month, or possibly next month and see how desparate the shops are to get your business. Some shops can cut silly deals (Vodafpone are certainly worth trying)

In the UK, I'd say Vodafone, for no other reason than they have the best coverage. Without a signal, a mobile phone is useless.

From a perspective that a network is:

Excellent value for money,
Rewarding customers with loyalty bonuses and free credit,
Offering superb coverage,
Giving outstanding customer service,
Protective of our planet by preserving rainforests and putting ethics before profit,

then O2 simply cannot be beaten.

By the way, I don't usually hold grudges, but please avoid the network '3' at all costs. They are pathetic.

T-Mobile has a great pacjkage called Flext. You buy the package for £x and get £x+20 credit which you can use for anything. Calls, texts, data download etc etc.

T-mobile, Vodafone and Virginmobile are all good.

I'd say 3 was the worst one to go on
