No....if you alter your subconcious with some kind of chemical, it doesn't change the overall REALITY.....just your perception of it.

It's possible that it is a total illusion. Can't rule that out, but I don't actually believe that.
What I do believe, is that it is a partial illusion. We are easily tricked into thinking certain things are more or less significant than they really are. And yes, we do have a great deal of freedom to adjust not only the perceptions, but the reality of their significance as well! The choices we make in life, affect how significant certain things are to us. For a very mundane instance, consider that a taxicab is more important to a cab driver than it is to a mailman. I think it is these constant adjustments that shape your personality and destiny!
Those who are too set in their views will find themselves trapped on a particular path in life.

Very interesting question, indeed!
I think that there is a certain concrete reality but we can filter it and have a role in it. What has really wondered me is still unsolved to me: how an individual sees her/his environment and other people so unshared, only her/his point of view? Why she/he is just what she/he is? What is actually "consciousness"?Sounds maybe peculiar, I know, but there should be something like a common and shared sameness of living creatures.
I must think further...coming back when new ideas appear.

We only have a model of reality in our minds. True reality only exists outside ourselves. That's why different people see the world as differently from each other as they do. We each create OUR own world.
The closer your model is to REALITY, the better your ideas will produce good results when put into action. If things fail, your model of reality and REALITY were too far apart.

Reality for me because things more move and change around me Yet if things repeat then you have been here before.
Not likely da ja vu if you want to change things you have to get up and make changes. Concise consciousness or dream state sub conscious you can not control. Control imagine things to be better You get caught up in different worlds and states that you put you focus or energy in...Try to stay REAL
Shame is to be stuck in anything...

I love this question - and so did the Ancient Greeks and just about every philosopher since.
I think we all perceive our own reality and, although not a total illusion of our subconscious, it is certainly modified by us.
I think of reality as being like a rainbow........we all see the rainbow, but we all see a different rainbow because our perspectives are different.

How far down the rabbit hollow are you keen to bypass? each thing starts off with a theory, a theory opens up the possibility. you could shift certainty. Our brains are wonderous issues. the possibility is countless. there is plenty greater to understand. And confident, it is your guy or woman theory technique which could make you insignificant, even even though it could additionally make you great. The subconcious is the place that's at. merely think of, each thing starts off with one electric spark in somebody's strategies. we would desire to continually all try to alter into the final observers.

or vice versa? your brain stores everthing your optic implants send to it your subconcious is the filing cabinet where such signals are stored. i do not know how the logic of your argument works if by concrete you are talking about your waking exsistance, then your track to your insignificance is controlled by you, ergo your perception on your being, how others think of you you will not know until you meet them or they tell you, you sub concious does not figure into your waking cociousness. regards LF

Reality, to you, is whatever you believe it to be. It's relative. If you believe it to be concrete reality, it is. If you believe it to be your subconscious' illusion, it is.
