Do you tell them you're naked and to hang on a minute, or do you play it off all cool as if you're fully clothed and nothing's out of the ordinary?

If it's a telemarketer, I hang up, if it's a CLOSE friend, I tell them, hey I'm soaking wet, hang on....and still talk, once I've dried off the phone -not like they haven't seen it all before, and it's not like they can see me NOW....but if it's just someone I couldn't care less about talking to - I'll flat out say, hey, I just got out of the shower, and now really isn't a good time to talk, I need to dry off, and get dressed you know.....

Well, I would only answer the call if it is someone I either am waiting to talk to, or i am close enough with to tell them to hold while i dry off.. otherwise play it cool if i need to take the call regardless of nakieness

I'm honest with them and tell them that I'm naked. They can talk to me while I'm dressing or they can call me back. Most of the time I call them back. The idea of picturing me naked, gross!

If the caller is female I tell them I'm naked. This has happened more than once, and once, with a former GF, it led to phone sex.

I always tell them I just got out of the shower... either they can hang on or call back... I would like to get dressed!

I tend to ignore the phone completely and then ring 1471 and decide if that person is worht speaking to whilst im undressed. But otherwise i would say i was in the middle of getting dressed and could i ring them back in 5 minutes.

I say, "This is Barbara," which is my usually greeting, but also, "Hang on a moment," and go grab my robe. Play it cool? You mean shiver like a leaf and get goose bumps all over? That's cooler than I wish to play it!

I just don't bother answering my phone if I'm busy drying off from a shower. I have caller ID and voicemail, I can always call them back or see them later.

I don't answer. That's what caller ID, and redial are for. I call them back after I'm dry, moisturized and dressed if I wanted to take the call.
