Fox has followed an effortless plan. They stated their objective target audience, which grew to develop into those who needed 'coaching' with an exact wint slant, on the type of communicate radio. They programmed for that objective target audience, stuck with the plan continuously, and finished nicely. in order that that they have got been effective. Neither MSNBC or CNN has finished the similar. both spoke again to the upward push in Fox's rankings by technique of creating use of being torn between being coaching channels and being Fox copycats. MSNBC now has a clean plan - be a liberal selection to Fox - and it truly is score are, by technique of way of reality the source exhibits, turning out to be very speedy, plenty speedier than those of Fox or CNN. yet they followed that plan less than a three hundred and sixty 5 days interior the previous, at the same time as they employed Maddow, and it is going to take time for them to seize Fox. CNN's brilliant objective target audience is those who elect immediately coaching, yet they don't seem executing with any authentic consistency. (In fairness to CNN, playing it immediately is larger sturdy than going with an known slant.) they could't truly ascertain for no undergo in ideas if or not they elect to do sturdy coaching, or do conversing heads shouting at one yet another, or per chance a tabloid form crime and action image celeb scandal mindset. in order that that they do particularly of each and they have not were given a clean objective target audience, and their rankings are tanking.

I can see two reasons for this (and thanks for providing support this time).
1. All the Republicans, far righters, conspiracy theorists, religious fanatics, UFO abductees, etc make up one HUGE fanbase, and:
2. Everyone else watches to see what you crazies are telling each other. Forewarned is forearmed.

Now cmon obviously Im kidding. I watch Fox when they're JUST GIVING NEWS STORIES. I watch CNN and MSNBC for the same reason. Once they get into their respective talk shows, I turn to something else. I'm intelligent enough to not need my opinion spoon fed to me, just gimme the facts maam and Ill make up my own mind.
However, one point I do want to make: If Fox is being watched by so many, how does the Republican theory of "Liberal Bias" in the media work? Obviously they aren't having too much success getting their so called bias across to all us dumb, can't think for ourselves citizens. By showing Fox is watched by so many, and because of the fact Fox News is an admittedly CONSERVATIVELY biased station, isn't it more reasonable to conclude the majority of the news media in this country is actually CONSERVATIVELY biased?

Oops theres that darn logic again.

Most Americans who are informed don't want to see the U.S. are always the bad guys,Republicans are always wrong and evil,Bush is an idiot nonsense that the other news channels offer.
Think about it.A few years ago, those of us who pay enough attention to know what we are talking about had no choice other than CNN.Once another option became available, goodbye CNN,hello Fox.
Most of those who would tend to agree with CNN's view(the uninformed myrmidons) are off watching "Flavor of love " or "Dancing with the stars" or some other mindless nonsense.

Because Foxnews actually gives both sides equal time. This is a relatively new development in news media and the Libs are having a hard time accepting it. When you are accustomed to having the opposition's views smothered, to have them suddenly given equal time seems unfair. Give it time, the furor will die down. MSNBC will adapt or die. CNN has adapted and they're doing ok. I see MSNBC going away or changing into something else that has more even coverage. CNN and Foxnews will always be there.

FOX respects the basically conservative nature of the American population. The other networks reflect a minority perspective found in the big cities of the East Coast and California and Seattle.

There is more to the USA than the "Right" and "Left" coasts and FOX programmers know that, and sturcture their broadcasts to that demographic fact.

Fox News kills all others only because they offer something the other news media outlets do not: the Republican/Conservative point of view. Most news media outlets are either Democrat/Liberal or they are in the middle of the road. There are a lot of people who have Republican/Conservative viewpoints who like the news. That to me is why Fox does offer fair and balanced news because they offer a side that no other media outlet does.

the mainstream media... networks, CNN, MSNBC, big city newspapers are dividing and, hence, diluting their natural audience. FOX has the whole center-right world to themselves.

FOX is the ONLY network that is immediately different from the all the rest.

If you are only interested in hearing the liberals talking points tune into any other cable or network TV channel.

FOX is where you go for truth, not liberal opinion.

Because FOX represents the actual feelings of the American majority rather than the rich elite former hippies of yesteryear.
