Question

to have a web cam and have it installed on my pc without noone else in my housewhold knowing? Is it easy to hook up and un-hook a web cam? I am thinking about getting one.

my husband doesnt want me having a cam but I want one..that is why.

I won one web cam and also ordered another web cam (both wrong connections) but in looking at them they are "obvious". I've also seen on tv where it's just like a security circular glass opening on a door but I don't know where you would get that unnoticeable kind. Plus you'd have to have your pc up and running constantly to have your web cam working. If you were using it for security purposes (to see who goes into your room) then you'd have to have your pc on all the time and your electricity bill would rise. If you were thinking of taping something happening in your room like taping an unknown person (other than for security reasons), or person against their will then that's illegal.

What some the other answers are avoiding are, "Are you wanting to spy on the wife and her imagined lover? Or are we wanting to spy on your teenagers as to what they are up to when you are not there?"


Of course there are web cameras that don't even need to be "Wired" (that is to use cat5 wire to connect them). Some don't even need to have a computer connected and they are wireless. But, you still need to have an Internet connection (preferably a high speed connection). You can even get spy cams that are embedded into clocks, figurines and such.

why so secretive, it is ofcourse possible. All you need is the drivers for it to work, but most webcams can with their own software but its not necessary, you can even use movie make to capture the video.
