I have done hotel management B.Sc.(Hospitality & Hotel Administration) from IHM- Mumbai with 62%.

I wish to start up my business.

But before that I want to move abroad, so that I can earn good to establish the business, so that there would be less of hassles on the monetory front.

Also, I wish to do an MBA, for the same cause. So, what I feel this moment is to go for GMAT, that would probably provide me admission in any of the renouned university in US, UK, Australia, Canada or any other European country. Please suggest me, am I making a right move, as well as, about other related formalities.

The GMAT is $250. You can download sample tests from www.mba.com; look under "Take the GMAT" and "Tools to Help You Prepare". You just download the free sample tests after you sign up. You should also buy some study books though, and not rely solely on the free software for your preparation.

Taking the GMAT is not only a good move to get an MBA it's required. But you can start up a business without an MBA. I think MBAs are good if you are an employee of a company and want to advance your career, but not required to start up a business. Of course you can learn a lot from the MBA which would help you in your business ventures. Good luck.
