Going into today's play, the Penguins have 19 wins, 17 losses, and 7 overtime losses, good for 45 points and 11th place in the Eastern Conference. They trail eighth place Tampa Bay by three points for the final playoff spot and have three games in hand on the Lightning.

They have 19 wins and 24 losses. Of those Losses 7 came in OT. Of those 4 came in a Shoot-out. Yeah those Overtime losses are worth one point BUT it is still a loss. I get so annoyed with when they say oh at 19-17-7 the Pens are over .500. No they AREN'T winning over half their games. They are getting POINTS in the standings in half the games but they AREN'T winning. They just read the numbers off like the old days of the tie though when the third column wasn't a loss.

Wouldn't it be easier to check on nhl.com instead of asking it here? Or maybe even espn.com.
