I am a Bio-Medical engineer and repair Medical equipment. We often discard medical equipment that is outdated or there are newer models available. I know that you need a license to re-sell, but what type of license would I need to have and where do I get it? I live in Florida and don't know where to start, but know there is a market for this.

I work in the DME buisness, and from the basic buisness knowledge, you have to obtain a vendor's license. I'm sure if you go to florida.gov they can help you in that matter. Some medical equipment is illegal to sell without being prescribed by a doctor. Concentrators, suction machines, feeding pumps, all fall in that category. Make sure you know what you are doing before you start. P.S. Here in Ohio, you also have to obtain a stuffed material license for anything that is filled with foam, or stuffing, such as mattresses, wheelchairs, cusions, and the like.
