Yes I think Beckham should be called back to the English national squad cuz he made a great difference. I mean, now it's not gonna be the same squad without Becks. He just made the team more appealing to put it that way.

About his career in L.A.... I think he made a great decision to go play in the MLS. At least now he'll be doing what he loves to--play football/soccer. Cuz at Real Madrid, he hasn't been doing much lately and he won't play for the rest of his time there.

Yeah, it'll be of great use to Real Madrid cuz that way they can get contracts with other players. It'll also make a great impact in L.A. Galaxy cuz I mean, Beckham is a widely-recognized footballer. With his transfer to the Galaxy, football/soccer popularity will go up in the U.S. and he'll be of great use!

Without Beckham England has the best midfield in the world (Lampard, Joe Cole, Gerrard, Lennon, Hargreaves) and Beckham can no longer play at the same level. Therefore despite still being a reasonably good player, Beckham doesn't belong on the England side any longer unless some of those players mentioned can't make a game.

Beckham's trade obviously won't do Real Madrid any good-- especially because his contract with them was over. I think that Beckham will be a star in the MLS, bring in new fans (the Galaxy sold 1000 season tickets on the day Beckham was signed), develop the game/league in the US, and make himself and his team a ton of money through increased exposure and endorsement deals. His move will also encourage other aging stars to cash in and go play in the US, which will eventually lead to players in their prime going to play in the US. And this will help develop American footie.

Why? He could barely get on the sub's bench at Madrid..he's not fully fit and he cant run anymore, as he showed in the World Cup. He doesn't warrant a place just because he can hit a decent free kick occasionally.

I dont think anything "about his career at LA", because he has yet to have a career there. Ask again in a year.

LA is fine. He was doing nothing in Madrid. At least in LA he will be able to go out and no one will know who he is.

And yeah, he should be on the England team.

First question NO NO NO! As for going to the states that's up to him , my own opinion I'm split as to his reason for going, but his misses has a very big input as to what he does. Just hope he doesn't join that weirdo group of loonies that his short friend belongs to, if he does then his credibility will be washed straight down the toilet.Only time will tell.

he will probablly have a good career in LA but no one will care. His being in LA wont raise American interest in soccer. The only soccer Americans really watch is the world cup.
