Pickle juice??? Salt and vinegar? Sheesh - I think not.

Try burying a banana peel beside each rose instead. Potasium has proven to be very good.

Pickle juice would be acid, so it would lower the pH somewhat, but sulfur would be a better choice. You would need to know the actual pH before you did anything.

Someone told me to put coffee grounds around my Azaleas.

I did and they croaked. Since then I don't do things like that.
