It use to be easy to get boxes from the grocery store but now they break their boxes down before trashing them. Although with good duct tape you can put the boxes back together. Call your local and closest grocery store and ask what day and time they will be stocking the shelves. Tell them you would like to retrieve a few boxes. This is what I did one time. Get there early because many others have already thought of this idea and they are there for the boxes and will snatch them up fast. An easier way is to go to a U-Haul, you can buy any size boxes you want in bulk at a very reasonable price. They have all kinds of neat moving gadgets for sale. I did this with my last big move. I broke the boxes down and stored them in my shed. They don't take up any space since they are broke down flat they fit up against the wall. I plan on moving again soon. Now I have boxes!! Good luck with your move. I have never figured out, which is harder packing to move or unpacking to move in.

Pack clothing and towels in garbage bags..Try one of the "big box" stores, like costco or sams club. Check the "craigslist" in your area. Look for a corrugated cardboard manufacturer, maybe they can hook you up with a bundle of 50 for cheap. Good luck with your move.
