I think gmail is good when ur working in an office & yahoo is good when ur at home,when u want to contact ur friends & the beloved ones.

Try them both, and see which one YOU like better. It's all a matter of what you're used to. People using gmail, will tell you gmail is better, people using yahoomail will like yahoo better...

gmail for real mail - it is cleaner, faster and more reliable
yahoo is better if you want to have an alias id that isnt really you (like batman44) or your want to use yahoo messenger.

Gmail has unlimited storage space. Yahoo also allows access to news, to movie info, to music info, etc. To each his own....
