I want to visit somewhere in europe which has a nice warm climate at the end of march. I have already been to Barcelona, Madrid, Algarve, Lisbon, Porto, Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava. Can you suggest somewhere else in Europe that is warm, full of culture, sites and will keep us occupied for ten days, etc to visit at this time of year? Thanks

Definitely Greece! I would suggest Venice or Paris, but it seems that you've been there, so Greece is a must see! Lots of culture and archaeological sites, and beautiful picturesque places. Stay in Athens at least 2-3 days, and then you can go to the following excursions:
1. Nafplion (beautiful neoclassical town with a medieval castle etc), with the sites of Epidaurus and Mycenae nearby(2 hour drive from Athens, 1 day trip)
2. Delphi, major archaeological site, near a ski resort. Also don't miss the Monastery of Hosios Lukas(2 hour drive from Athens,1 day trip).
3. A couple of islands, like Syros- Mykonos (Delos, the sacred island of ancient Greeks is a must go near Mykonos), or Naxos - Santorini. Wonderful! (4-5 hours journey by ferry boat, allow 2 days to visit each island).
4. Monemvasia and Mistras, the medieval Byzantine castle- towns of the Peloponnese(3-4 hours drive from Athens, 2-3 days excursion).
5. Meteora, the amazing rocks with monasteries on top, and the beautiful settlemets of Mount Pelion (5 hours drive from Athens, 3-4 days excursion)
6. Ioannina and the beautiful villages of Zagorochoria (5 hours drive from Athens, 3-4 day excursion).

Keep in mind that there will be Easter around that time, so you need to book in advance for the easter week!
Email me if you need more info! But Greece is definitely a place you must not have missed in europe!

If you've never been there, Sicily. In ten days you can visit Catania, great, full of life (especially night life) and history (easy to reach by aiplane from London Gatwyck). While you're there I suggest to go to Taormina and up on the Etna Vulcano (if the day is bright you can see till Siracusa). Then to Siracusa, the most old greek of the sicialian cities. After these 4/6 days (Catania, Taormina, Etna and Siracusa), I suggest to move to Palermo, unique, a mixture of Arabic, Norman, Spanish and French, all in one. There are other wonderful part to visit, like the west and the south coast, but Ten days are not enough.
Another option, if you prefer to visit just the east part of Sicily and are interested in ancient history, is to go, after the first part, to Agrigento (probably best preserved greek temple in the world) and Piazza Armerina (an incredible and huge Roman Villa perfectly preserved with the whole floor covered with mosaics).

Malaga, Sevilla and Granada in Spain!! The best time to come and visit is in September & October or April & may, it is not to hot and not to cold (end of March is kinda OK too).

Granada has a lot of Baroque Architecture and offers a range of amenities comparable to those of any modern city.
Seville is all the things Madrid and Barcelona have been trying to leave behind for decades – siestas, bullfights, machismo, tapas, flamenco. Seville today amalgamates the past, present and future perfectly, uniting modern business practice with the old ways and local colour in an inimitable way.
If you a fan of Picasso, you should once visit the Picasso Museum and his birth place in Malaga. This city is full of history and culture.

Have a nice trip!!

February/March is a great time to visit Europe! because it's cheaper even some places could be colder but you just take prepared for that and enjoy a less crowdy Europe. Sweden is wonderful but I fear you'll find it snowing. France, Spain, Germany are great and I suggest you carrying an umbrella just in case. Enjoy your trip!!

I would suggest Sicily as a good place to visit in March.. It will be warm and there is a lot of culture right across the Island including many Ancient Greek temples. Taormina is a beautiful town with easy access to Mount Etna.
