First thing is to figure out what type of skin you have. Take care of it accordingly. Keep your skin clean and moisturized. Don't overdo anything, esp. the makeup bit. Look for noncomedogenic products, they won't clog pores. You'll be fine. And don't start using products made for acne prone skin unnecessarily, they can dry out normal skin.

I grew up with really bad acne and the only thing i've figured out is that I always have to use some sort of face cleanser in the morning when I get up and get ready and right before bed. No matter what the product was it was apparent that good washing was preventative.

However, my favorite acne products are Proactiv. Cleared up all my acne scars too. But it does get a little harsh and drying so I only use it a few times a week. I alternate between that and whatever "new" and "exciting" face cleanser I decide to buy.

Drink lots of water, moisturise, smile more than frown, move in the way you like best then rest. None of us can predict the future except for this, there's only one definite and a case of breakout is the least of your worries! We're not around too long, enjoy it while you can.

the absolute best product is proactive. period.

i still use this stuff, and my face is toned/acne free/moisturized.

proactive is for both women AND men.

jessica simpson used this product too.

you can order it from www.proavtive.com, or run the the store and get j-14 magazine, there's always a proavtive order form at the near end of the mag.

they're affordable, you can get the whole kit, comes with instructions and guidelines, you can get a full refund between 30 days even if the bottles are empty, and best of all, you get a clear face!!

The best thing you can do is to clean your face with mild cleanser, avoid sleeping with make up, and use high quality (that does not necessarily means pricey) creams.Drink lots of water, eat smart, and exercise, walk, run ...

the best thing you can do is go to a dermatoligist. you never know what will work for your skin. asking people for help isnt the best idea because they will say what works for them, and they probably dont have the same type of skin as you. going to a specialist is the best idea. they will recommend something that will work for you.

Try to drink plenty of water as this will help flush out toxins that cause break outs.

Follow the steps above too... Good luck :)
